Help me give my students digital microscopes for their classroom. We are looking forward to using them next year after all this social distancing is over.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My biology students live in Miami Dade county & come from a myriad of ethnic backgrounds. Our community is diverse. My students are mostly new incoming 9th grade high school students with a few 10th grade students. Most of our school population is from the Homestead, Fl. area. It is an amazing community with a local air base and military presence. It is a low income and high immigrant city.
My students are tech savvy and hungry for new educational technology & engagement.
Many of my students receive exposure to technology at school and not at home. Resources are not often found in the household due to the lower economic conditions found in many areas surrounding our school.
Most students will be provided with a tablet due to our district transition to the BYOD (bring your own device) initiative. Some students may have their own tablets & devices as well. There may be students who do not have Internet at home and it's my job to saturate their learning environment with fun, thought provoking & engaging activities. These kids should be able to come into the class and leave inspired to grow and learn more about our ever changing world.
My Project
This project is for 1 digital microscope for our Biology classroom. Our prior project was for 6 scopes and was not fully funded. We are hoping we can use previously donated funds to acquire this single microscope.
Students can view the screen and see their specimen much easier with this updated technology.
Digital scopes are a great addition to the biology classroom.
Students working in groups can collaborate even better with digital microscopes. Students can help each other obtain the right specimen views since they are all able to see the screen at the same time.
