My Students

We are a small community of engaged students who may or may not have the opportunity to utilize technology in our homes. We are groups of English and Social Studies students who use our technology as often as the lessons permit.

We study historical novels and primary source documents; We make beautiful art pieces and write inspiring poetry; We dig deep into our subjects and get involved!

We are athletes, we are readers, we are writers, we are thinkers, we are doers, we are students!

My Project

Our class spends time on a near-daily basis on their Chromebooks. Our current set of Chromebooks are a bit on the older side. We share them with different classes on campus, and we have had them for over five years. Unfortunately, the wear and tear is starting to show, and we are missing keys and are having frequent break downs. While this is great experience in the troubleshooting and problem-solving world, it would be beneficial to replace our oldest machines.

By being able to access technology at school, we believe we are providing more access to the 'digital age' for our students and introducing them to the high tech demands that they will encounter in the future.

We use all of the digital options available to us. We use our Chromebooks for interactive presentations and as our digital maker space.
