My students this year are eager to learn and try new things. They are constantly asking questions and looking for answers. These students are friendly, helpful, sweet, and a joy to be around. I truly love coming to school everyday!
Many of these students were exposed to learning at a young age by attending preschool programs, however I have a bunch that are new to school and are struggling with sharing and making friends.
I am hoping that with daily center time, we can build a wonderful classroom community.
My students are being raised in a much different world than I grew up in. Smart phones, tablets, and computers can answer almost anything we want to know in an instant. They are being pushed to use more computer based learning programs during the school day. Children are using technology in their daily lives and have learning opportunities presented to them many times a day. During the school day, we are trying to incorporate digital learning tools, like the requested Chromebooks, to increase student learning and achievement.
By donating to this project you will be putting well-needed technology into eager hands to impact everyday learning.
By increasing access to computer usage, the students I teach will have more time to learn new skills and practice what they already know and be prepared to live in the digital world. We will use computer based learning programs in the classroom to support learning.
