Digital Learning for Distance Learning

Help me give my students some digital resources that they can do at home during our distance learning times. I also want to be able to send home supplies in a safe, secure, and sealable bag.

My Students

My school is a Title I school, having most of our children come from low-income families and foster homes and they face several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My students are anything but ordinary, and that's what makes them special. I am a general education teacher, but I have many types of students in my classroom; this ranges from students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and emotional behavior disorders.

My classroom provides a learning environment that guides my students not only in academic growth but also emotional growth.

I try and provide a model of excitement and harmony within the classroom that inspires my students toward academic success. My students love to read and I am continually working and looking for ways to help them become more engaged and better all-around students.

Every day these amazing children come to school with a smile on their face ready to learn despite everything going on around them - Covid 19 included! Each and every day they try their best to achieve their goals despite forces beyond their control and this year they seem to be loving being at school even more.

My Project

I want my students to be able to learning and do their computer work with some added excitement. I do not want them to just type and click on plain documents. Through digital learning, the students will be able to manipulate text, add in their own images, drag and move, as well as type on a provided document. I feel this will encourage their participate and motivate them to want to work. I am also requesting 2 gallon ziplock bags so we can send supplies or notes home through a safe and secure container and it gives the students a place to keep their supplies.
