This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Howdy, from South Texas! I have 37 students in my 4th grade class and all of them are English language learners. Several of my students are the first in their families to receive an education in the United States. They are all at different stages of learning English and I would love for them to continue on their journey of being bilingual and fluent in both languages.

They have a hunger for knowledge and love to be engaged.

They are awesome kids that sometimes need a little encouragement. My bilingual kids are the best and I can't wait to see the great things they will do in their futures.

My Project

This TPT gift card will allow me to find resources for my students to continue learning from home. Many of the resources created on TPT are rigorous and engaging. My students love working on the engaging content that has been created by other educators as well. These resources will allow me to easily upload to my Google Classroom so that my students are able to receive literacy and writing lessons easily from the comfort and safety of their homes. I will engage them with the rigorous and interactive lessons that are aligned to our curriculum.
