Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of the smartest, most resilient, and most caring people in the world. They work incredibly hard to balance academics, extracurricular activities, and jobs outside of school. I am amazed at how far they have come this year, and know that with your help, we can make this school year feel special to them.

My Project

This school year has been remarkable in so many ways and has come with challenges and obstacles like no year before. My HS students did not give up, and gave their learning everything they could!

The members of our student-run school newspaper 'Lodi Rampage' have been working hard this school year to write stories and create content for the student body.

I'd love to celebrate their hard work by giving them a T-shirt with our Rampage logo on it, to create camaraderie and acknowledge their hard work. In total there are 21 students who will need a shirt. They'll be able to wear this shirt with pride, knowing that it represents their time on the school paper. I also included in some books written by black authors to help inspire their writing and their story telling!
