This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Walking into our school, you will find a diverse group of kids. Many of my students are English language learners, which means they are learning how to read, write, and speak English.
Our classroom is in an urban environment, filled with kids from all walks of life.
We are a Title I school, and our whole school gets free breakfast and lunch. I have a few students with troubled homes, which makes me work harder to create an environment where every child feels safe and able to learn the skills necessary to be ready for middle school and beyond.
My Project
Brain Pop Jr. video clips are highly engaging for students and help teach and solidify student understanding of important and essential curriculum content.
Incorporating digital animation into curriculum content deepens student understanding and recollection of key learning concepts.
Students enjoy watching characters teach about what they are learning in school.
When strategically imbedded in daily lessons, students often make additional connections through digital content. Digital content significantly improves students' ability to readily remember and clearly understand crucial concepts. Digital content enriches and enhances student learning and is definitely a delight.
