This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever wanted to watch something on TV and realized you don't have that channel? This is what my students go through when we find an exciting video on the topic we are learning only to find out we do not have a subscription.

I will be teaching 2nd and 3rd grade classes of math and science.

I will be looping up with my students, so I know that science is one of their favorite subjects. They all attend a Title 1 school where more than 90% of them recieve free or reduced price lunch. They are all English Language Learners (ELL).

My Project

Working with English Language Learner requires teachers to think outside the box. Students need more visual support than anything else. Having a subscription to BrainPop Jr will help my students visualize the science topics so that they are able to connect the vocabulary to their real world surroundings.

With your help, as well as the help of AKJ Books, my students will have access to this eBook: Digital Courseware.

They will be better able to understand the science concepts as they relate to thier surroundings.
