Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work as the digital learning coach for two elementary schools in an urban school district north of Boston. The schools have students from many different backgrounds and come from all over the world! For most of my students, English is a second language and most come from poverty.

Students need to be more aware of how to be safe online!

Students have been learning about digital citizenship in technology classes which includes internet safety and cyberbullying. These internet safety/digital citizenship read aloud books would be a perfect way to kick off a discussion on how students can be safe and mindful while online. The books are funny and cute but deliver a clear message on how to navigate the online world.
