This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from different nationalities and backgrounds. They are full of curiosity and hunger for learning. Everyone is unique in their own special way but have a few things in common. They all speak Spanish and are emergent English learners. Being a teacher in a title 1 school has made me realize that our Bilingual students often do not have enough resources, these books are an important piece to help increase reading levels in their native language and provide the strategies they need to improve comprehension. My students love to read but we currently lack enough books in their native language to have a full classroom library. Your donation would help, not only my students from this school year but years to come.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
