My Project

A book study is an important part of the elementary education experience, as it helps children develop critical thinking skills, build their vocabulary, and enhance their understanding of the world around them. By engaging in book study, kids can learn how to analyze and interpret text, which is an essential skill for success in school and beyond.

A book study can help children develop a love for reading, which is crucial for their academic success and personal growth.

Through reading, kids can explore new worlds, learn about different cultures, and develop empathy and understanding for others. It can also help children develop their imagination and creativity, which allows them to think beyond the limits of their everyday experiences.

I feel the book Holes by Louis Sachar would be a great book to dig into for this age group. I believe all of my students would be able to connect with the characters while learning and utilizing important skills necessary for academic success.
