My Project

Do you like to build and create things out of snow or dig in the dirt? Well our students certainly do.

Help us get the durable kid friendly shovels we need to create snow forts in Winter and tend our school garden in the Fall and Spring.

One of our school's PreK-5 favorite recess activities is to build snow forts out of the mounds of snow we have in Alaska during our long Winter. We've tested lots of kinds of shovels and found these 28 inch metal shovels to be the best for both our school garden and snow fort building needs.
