Help me give my students differentiated lessons and fun interactive activities for learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Jenkins's classroom raised $275

My Students
I teach ALL students K-5 and Special Education Science. I teach in the Southwest section of Philadelphia. My school is 100% economically disadvantaged, 96% are African American and 4% are Hispanic/Latino. My students often come to school with the burdens of life on their shoulders. With this they are on different levels and academic needed.
Differentiation of activities is a great motivator that improves student learning, enhances literacy, boosts attentiveness and self motivation.
My Project
All students are not the same! They learn differently, at different paces, and different styles. Differentiated instruction is a teaching approach that tailors instruction to students' different learning needs. As I begin a new year, in a new school, teaching new content these Teacher Pay Teachers gift cards will greatly benefit my students by providing quality activities geared to their personal level. I have multiple classes of Special Education students who according to their IEP have individual needs that I can better address with through the differentiation of activities and worksheets.
With differentiated lesson and activities, I can better manage what my students learn, how my students learn, and how to assess my students.
Differentiated instruction will allow me to maximize individual growth in my class. These Teacher Pay Teachers gift cards will also allow me to use my time where it is most needed, working in small groups with my students!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
