This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having access to high quality materials makes a difference in students with disabilities engagement, growth, and overall well being. The quality of their materials matters to ensure they can reach their goals with proper supports. Having technology to assess their growth allows them to perform various tasks in an alternative way. The materials to support their engagement are based on their interests, style of learning and demonstrated growth. As they continue to develop in the oral language skills, they require different material. The materials they have access to can change the trajectory of their demonstrated abilities.
