Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school has 527 students and is a Title I school!
My little ones are full of energy and are ready to learn!
My students are always eager to want to know and learn more! They ask many questions, they talk a lot, they are curious, and so much more! We are discovering, learning manners, social skills, academics, and tons more!
Most of our students are English Language Learners, and the majority of our students qualify for the free/reduced price lunch program.
My Project
Please help me obtain classroom essentials so I can better differentiate for my students during small groups and one-on-one time.
Differentiating is very important for a student's success, and with the right tools and organizational materials we can achieve it!
I want to be able to achieve this by keeping my students' work organized and filed! I want them to be able to easily access their work that will be at their level!
My classroom would greatly benefit from having a filing box with filing folders for each student to easily access their work and help us stay organized! I want to have easy access to what I need to work with them on and be able to put work at their reading and math level. I would also like to obtain pocket charts to have hanging in our classroom for their unfinished work so they can easily access it when they are done with other work! I would love 120 number and place value chart to help us with our math skills and better understand math concepts! The staple gun will help us staple our classroom projects and pocket charts on our walls!
We would be using all these materials throughout the day for all the subjects! For example, we will be using them during language arts centers, math workstations, guided reading, writing, social studies, and science! They would help us stay organized and efficient!
