My Students

My students are a diverse group, with a wide range of academic abilities. All of them, at one time or another, need some differentiated instruction- and regardless of the circumstances- either in school or in this new world of remote/virtual teaching-they need materials that are adjusted to their individual level so that they have equal access to the curriculum.

Many of my students (approximately 20%) need resources to supplement the classroom experience (both in-person and remotely).

Whether the children be in an ICT (integrated co-teaching) or general education class, their ability can span a wide range. As an educator, it is incumbent upon me to make sure my diverse learners have everything they need to be successful scholars.

They have a variety of learning styles and needs, but they do have one thing in common- they love to learn, explore, and investigate the different branches of science. These wonderful and curious students need resources in order to reach their full potential.

My Project

This project, for TeacherPayTeachers gift cards, is greatly needed, especially during this time of remote/virtual instruction. These funds will allow me to purchase a variety of resources, on a variety of academic levels, based on students' academic needs, and integrate them with one click into Google classroom.

My students, regardless of the circumstances, need resources to help them learn on their level at a pace that is appropriate for them.

Currently, I have students who function on a high academic level- others on grade level- and others who need academic intervention. Some of my students are English Language Learners. My students love the digital escape rooms, station lab activities, and other leveled assignments that can be purchased from TpT, but a teacher’s budget does not always allow me to acquire these resources. With so much uncertainty about how schools will look in the future, it is important to have resources in place so that we best serve our students, regardless of where the learning is taking place.
