This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students and I have been very fortunate and blessed that so many generous donors have funded to the previous projects that have been focused specifically on our new ELA library listening center. However, the other day as I was putting it all together and organizing it in my classroom library I found I was missing one last essential piece to this amazing differentiated listening center.
As a professional differentiation is a priority in my instruction to help promote student growth and meet the needs of all my students.
To help support and meet the needs of my ELL/MLL, sped, and non-reading students this listening center is essential to their literacy skills. This center will increase their reading, listening, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. I will use this center daily during our reading centers. During this time they will work together, collaborate, and discuss the texts they are listening to.
I am so grateful for all the support, love, and donations this center has already received and would appreciate any donation to this last final step. Please consider donating to this project. I promise it will be used effectively and make a big difference in my students literacy skills and development.
