My Students
Our school is an IB and AVID Demonstration school in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. Our student population is one of the most diverse in the Las Vegas Valley. We have over 2700 students and were recently put under the "Title I" designation. My seniors have had a rough go in their high school careers. Before August, the last time most of them were on a high school campus was their Sophomore year. My kids are starved of creativity and need support to get across the finish line.
My Project
The storage racks and storage bins will allow me to maximize the room in my portable classroom and allow me to stay organized.
My students have really responded to everything creative this year after being online for 18 months.
I want my students to feel welcome in my classroom so I added some bulletin board materials to revamp my boards in my classroom.
I also added lighting to the HDMI adapter for my iPad because this is currently the only way to project in my classroom and my current adapter is on its last leg.
