This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work with students that have learning disabilities from Kinder- 3rd and a few 4th and 5th graders, and that come from low income families. Many families cannot, afford to provide the right materials for their children. students with different learning abilities when in groups, each has a set goal to achieve. Each student works at their own pace and needs that need extra support to meet their goal and achieve a better understanding in learning. Help us get the right materials to help in class and outside to take home.
My Project
Will give each student writing journals to express how they feel and practice writing. Let us give each student Crayons and journal books to be creative. Help us give our students post its, markers, dry erase markers, dry erase boards to practice writing sentences and math problems, the use of manipulative for math. Visual support is needed also teaching sounds vocabulary skills, phonics writing folders , alphabet journals, read and build sight word sentences, really good Magnetic tins and letters classroom kit, puzzles, classroom behavior chart magnetic double ten frames dry erase two sided primary lined dry erase boards non-magnetic, comprehension games, magnetic learning activity boards kit alphabet arc, easy read sound box kit, book hands-on activities to help meet each student with learning disabilities.
