Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a Resource class from 1st grade to 5th grade. The majority of the students in my school come from low-income families. They all have different needs and learning styles but what makes them unique is their drive to learn and achieve their goals. I am proud of these students and would love to see them grow academically this year with the resources from DonorsChoose.

My Project

My students' needs range from mild to severe. I teach an RSP class from 1st-5th. No exact curriculum can address their major learning needs. I find Teachers Pay Teachers as a good resource to balance engaging, academic but fun activities that can keep them interested in learning.

Most of my students cannot benefit from the regular curriculum.

They need something that incorporates arts. TPT has that. They also get easily discouraged to see long and busy text in a workbook. Fortunately, TPT authors have created worksheets that limit text.

My students truly enjoy modified worksheets found in most TPT work. Please help me support their needs.
