My Students

I am a teacher in a low income/poverty school. My students face challenges everyday in the classroom and out of the classroom. They are very bright and loving students who I try to keep an open door policy in my classroom so they can learn to their greatest potential.

My students are very active and like to move around the classroom and learn in different ways.

Our school has limited resources for flexible seating. The students sit on hard chairs or on the floor if they choose when learning.

My Project

They will help children visually and the other products will help with seating. The scoop chairs are for different seating. They will be able to sit around the room and use them for whole class discussions or even in small groups. It is very important to give the students options because even as an adult to sit in a chair all day can be hard to do. For an active child it can be difficult to do. That is also the same with the empire inflatable chair! We will use the pocket chart for vocabulary words that our school really wants us teachers to focus on. I also like to use educational hands on games with them. The other product will be used to organize students headphones and personal materials since our method of organization is not the best right now.
