My Project
I would like to provide a rich learning math Zearn environment for all my students. In doing so, I would like for you to help me create a space that students can thrive in. I would like for students to enter our Zearn room and feel not only safe but comfortable. My goal is to create an environment that promotes a Growth Mindset not only towards math but for learning in general.
The way in which I would utilize the space is to use pillows, bean bags, carpet, along with other flexible seating options that will allow students to choose their seating preference and help them feel comfortable and stay engaged in the lesson, as well as providing students with lighting that makes them feel relaxed and ready to learn.
Math can be an intimidating and overwhelming subject and I want students to feel enthusiastic and motivated about math. I also want students to feel engaged and excited about math. By creating this space they will know that math can be fun and it is just as important as reading.
