This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These supplies will help model the abstract idea of the atmosphere. I got this project idea from my 6th grade science teacher. I did this exact activity when I was in her class and I still remember it to this day. The beads are used to model the different layers of the atmosphere and there is a song to go with it.

Let's foster a love for science.

I remember doing this activity 10 years ago and I want to give that to my students. My 6th grade science teacher is the one that made me want to become a teacher because of activities like this.
