My Project

The items that are requested in this project will be for the students to use to create care packages for those in need or who need a little reminder of how important they are. The socks, hand lotion, tissues and snacks will be treated as newly discovered organisms that students need to classify (by making their own dichotomous key)

The goals of the project are for students to learn how to use a dichotomous key to classify/identify organisms.

They will then carry their knowledge to a higher level and create a dichotomous key using fake organisms (personal care items).

My sophomores are a compassionate group and they are learning how exciting Biology can be, but add in an opportunity to help out others and they will rise to the challenge
