My Project
At our elementary school, the library is a center of literacy and learning for roughly 500 students in grades PK-5. We strive to create an environment where all students have access to varied, interesting, and relevant texts.
Since their very first library classes of the year, students across the grades have been requesting the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.
We have some of the books in our library collection, but it's not nearly enough to meet demand. If funded, this project would allow for the purchase of 18 more Diary of A Wimpy Kid books in hardcover, ensuring they are able to withstand the large number of anticipated checkouts.
Once purchased, these books will be added to the school library collection for circulation, where they will help students fall in love with reading for years to come!
