Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting an online course so I can learn new approaches and theories in special education.

A high percentage of my students have IEPs: I want to learn more about Special Education in order to better serve my students.

This course from JBV will teach the identification, etiology, and the intellectual, physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and educational variance of students with disabling conditions. Definitions, prevalence, causation, legal issues, and special education interventions and techniques will also be discussed.

Taking courses in special education will improve my ability to teach diverse learners in the music classroom. Thank you for your support!
