My Project
I recently took over as the advanced PE teacher at T. School. Due to so many of our students coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds our school falls under the label of that as a Title 1 program. Many of my students suffered from and continue to suffer from childhood traumas. Lack of structure in the household as well as lack of positive role models is a major problem many of my students currently face.
I'm looking to get this project done in order to give our students the equal opportunity they deserve by helping them to develop a foundation in strength and conditioning that they will be able to carry with them for a lifetime.
Developing healthy diets, exercise technique, and promoting mental wellness are some of the specific benefits the students will obtain through the use of this equipment. Along with this it will also provide students the opportunity to better prepare themselves to participate in sports as a chance to keep themselves busy and out of trouble with an extracurricular activity.
