Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In working with a variety of ages, these materials can be adapted to facilitate skills needed for accessing their academics and life skills in a wide range of ages and skill levels. The emotional books would assist with emotional regulation so many of my students have difficulty within their daily routine. The Eric Carle books provide a basis for many units, I incorporate monthly to address fine and visual motor skill projects. With games, students learn how to take turns, incorporate social skills, manipulate game pieces, and sequence while having fun. With the ink and lamination, I can preserve activities created to be used with many students over many years.

All the items in my list would enrich student's skills and incorporate leaning while having fun!
