Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a teacher, there is a need to help the students not only to learn academically but also to provide the things they need in school. With the use of these materials, I can laminate colorful worksheets that could last longer which they can always use to review the lessons. Using their laptop, they can clearly hear and correctly answer the lessons because they will use comfortable headset. During reading time, the students will seat on their specific spot on the rag to avoid fight with a classmate.

My goals for this project are to help my learners learn better not only by providing the things that they need but to inculcate the value of each materials, to be responsible in taking care of them and to be thankful for all the blessings they receive.

With these, they will be inspired to do their best in school because they will know how lucky they are to have these blessings and in return, they will be motivated to finish their studies and be professionals someday.

My students are special because even though they do not have complete school materials, they are still inspired to go to school and ready to learn. They know that they can fulfill their dreams with the support of the people around them and different organizations like DonorsChoose.
