This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Puzzles are hugely important to young children's cognitive development. Our preschool needs some new puzzles!

Our school is situated in a low-income urban environment.

Our students come from all walks of life, and some have never done puzzles before coming to preschool. These puzzles can be used to help foster problem solving as well as specific skills. All my students love puzzles!

My Project

Puzzles are a key opportunity to manipulate the world around them. They help develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and memory. The quality puzzles I am requesting are engaging enough to capture a child's attention and build problem solving skills. Puzzles are awesome!

These materials will help spark my students interest in solving problems.

This skill has the potential to help them throughout their lives. Few other items in the preschool classroom build as many diverse skills as puzzles do.
