Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 4th graders who are creative, curious, and eager to learn. They come to school every day ready to share their ideas and grow as writers. My goal is to nurture that love of writing while building their skills in a clean, organized, and healthy environment.
I am requesting materials to set up a dedicated Writing Center stocked with tools to support my students’ writing development.
Items like dry erase markers, and stamps will help make a creative space where students can plan, draft, revise, and publish their work.
I am also asking for essential cleaning supplies such as disinfecting wipes and expo wipes. These will help us keep our classroom safe and hygienic, so students can focus on learning without worry.
Together, these resources will create a space where my students can feel proud, productive, and safe. The Writing Center will promote independence and creativity, while the cleaning supplies ensure our learning environment stays healthy for everyone.
