My Project
My special education preschool students are eager to learn and explore their environment. The requested supplies needed for my classroom are books, puzzles, puzzle organizers, fine motor manipulative toys, and paper for art projects.
As my students play and explore their environment, they will use these puzzles, books, and materials to learn and master new skills.
Puzzles are one of my favorite resources for young children. They are an excellent tool for developing fine motor skills. Through puzzle play, children build their small muscles, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving strategies through repeated practice. My students will enjoy the new books to add to our growing classroom library. Reading to young children is an important way to help them build language skills and literacy. It exposes them to new words and ways of using language.
I believe that these items will greatly enhance my classroom and give my students the opportunities they need to learn and develop new skills.
