Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The majority of my students are sophomores, and come to class wanting to learn. Many of my students like engaging and interactive lessons while in my classroom. I also have ESL students that have different styles of learning, and I need to be able to provide them with that.
Some of my students don't have the ability complete their work at home, and can't afford supplies to even start their assignments.
I want to be able to give them opportunities while at school for them to complete their work at school, and meet their academic goals.
My Project
These Chromebooks will give my students a chance to write and work on assignments in class when they normally can't at home. My room currently has one computer for all of my students to share, and these Chromebooks will allow more students to use technology.
I also need books for my classroom library because not everyone has the ability to go to the library.
In my classroom students will read independently, and they need to be able to choose a book they're interested in. These books will give my classroom library more of a variety of options for my students to use.
