This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The ELL students at WHS are a resilient and inspiring crew! Collectively, they had overcome so many challenges before Covid-19 even crashed upon the shores of WHS ohana, yet they are still rising to the challenge every day to catch up academically, while simultaneously building their English language proficiency.
Headsets and iPads will be an essential gateway to unlocking valuable digital resources!
We are working on building a robust ELL program, here at WHS which will include 4 language domain centers (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
