My Project
I am requesting the Developing Decoders GREEN Nonfiction Collection, a thoughtfully designed series of 195 decodable nonfiction books aligned with the UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) scope and sequence. Designed to build strong foundational reading skills while sparking curiosity, this collection is the perfect blend of literacy and learning.
Each book provides rich, age-appropriate content that allows students to practice decoding skills while discovering fascinating facts.
With high-interest topics and structured phonics progression, these books serve as a meaningful bridge between explicit instruction and independent reading.
Collection Options:
Kindergarten Collection: 50 titles, six copies of each
First-Grade Collection: 75 titles, six copies of each
Second-Grade Collection: 70 titles, six copies of each
These books are perfect for both small group and individual practice. They not only reinforce phonics instruction but also align with grade-level content, offering students books they can truly read and understand as they explore science, history, and more. With your support, my students will have the tools they need to grow into confident, curious, and capable readers.
