My Project

Many of my Phoenix, Arizona Title I ELA students find they love to read...when given the opportunity! Help me provide fun, interesting, and thought-provoking books to help them dive into the endless possibilities available to them!

The love of reading correlates to higher test scores and overall increased academic achievement, but in the age of technology and social media (and especially post-pandemic), it can sometimes be hard to hook a student with a book.

Help me help them develop a love for reading and the joy of discovery between the pages.

Analysis and evaluation begins with imagination and access to a variety of books that are not only interesting and captivating but also fun!

I want to open their minds to new perspectives, expand their knowledge of the world, and improve their critical thinking skills.

Thank you for helping me fund a reading library that inspires my learners to unearth the wonder that books provide!
