Help me give my students tools at their seat! The name plates have a holder for pencils so they aren't rolling away. They also have an alphabet which helps with proper letter formation and a 100's chart.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every students has their own seat. They know where they sit but other visitors to the classroom do not. It helps visitors know exactly where students should be sitting and it tells them their name.
Nameplates are a desktop helper!
Every student will receive one and it will have the correct spelling of their name. This is important to students that are still struggling to write a first and last name. The nameplates have an alphabet which helps with letter formation when writing. Also, they have a 100's chart which helps students write numbers during math.
Nameplates help in so many ways. They are an important part of my second grade classroom.
