This year there are 16 amazing students in my class at an elementary school in Southwest Wisconsin. These students have had some opportunities to use technology in class, but I want to provide them with even more opportunities.
I want our classroom to be well-rounded with many resources and technology to utilize.
The students in our school are so eager to learn and excited to learn in new ways. Over half of the students in our district are from low-income households which means that some of them may not have the opportunity to use technology at home.
My Project
The students in my classroom enjoy using technology to complete their lessons during group time. They also enjoy having the flexibility to choose where they learn. We have access to some technology and flexible seating, but these additional iPads and seats will allow for every student to have their own device and seat during small group learning
Technology and flexibility open a new world of learning!
Students learn in many different ways. Having these choices available in our classroom allows the students to explore those learning styles. Having multiple electronic devices available in the classroom allows a guided group to work together on the same task. In the past some students would get to do technology time while others did not get a chance. They will also be able to spread out across our classroom during this time.

In my five years teaching, I have watched students flourish when allowed to be creative and daring with their learning. Technology and an abundance of resources allow students to learn in a new and exciting way. Allowing students to be creative and hands-on learners can help them excel in the classroom and enjoy their work. Help me show my students that learning can be FUN! Please help me reach my goal!
