This year, I have a wide range of students. Most of my students are Native American, some that are eager to learn, others will need that extra push to succeed. The children seem to work really well together and encourage each other.
I believe that all students can and will learn.
They just need to be nurtured and encouraged to succeed. Some just need to know that they are loved and can achieve their goals as long as they don't quit and never give up.
My Project
Please help me give my students new desks to help create a safer learning environment. Currently, some of our desks have rust on them, causing them to be unsafe. The bolts that hold the legs up are rusting, therefore; allowing the desks to fall. Creating a safe environment will help my students become successful scholars.
Students need a desk, whether it be a sitting or standing desk, to perform their classwork.
I have flexible seating options, but I still prefer desks for the initial instruction of a new topic or subject. Once the new material has been introduced, students are free to choose their seating options.
