Help me give my students a space where they can feel welcome to do collaborative work with their peers. The desks in the classroom now are not meant for collaborative work.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When I come to work every day, I feel sad to see the environment our students from Oakland are forced to be taught in. Our organization does its best to provide the necessities needed to learn, and as appreciative as I am for that, it is not enough for our students.
Why should our students from Oakland be forced to be in an environment where their necessities are met but deprived of luxuries?
Something I can call luxury for these students may not be for others, such as desks. Students need an environment where they can collaborate with their peers, have conversations, and learn from each other. This project will help me start an environment where they can come, feel welcomed, and work collaboratively.
