Desk Pet Incentives

Help me give my students desk pets and other motivators for the classroom.

My Project

Students of any age thrive with positive reinforcement. Through the use of Class Dojo, an online behavior system that encourages positive interactions, my students earn points. This year I decided to introduce desk pets as a reward system that can be purchased with positive points, or "dollars."

Help students learn about animals by allowing them to build a habitat and care for their own desk pet!

Students will receive points for positive classroom contributions in order to earn their own desk "pet." Students will then design their habitat within an acrylic box that will live on their desk, create "food" for their creature, and find out which other animals live in their ecosystem.

Along with the desk pets, I am asking for additional materials to replenish our classroom prize box.
