This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year, UIL challenges students across Texas to use their creativity, problem-solving skills, and artistic vision to bring a theatrical script to life through design. This year’s script, The King Stag, is a whimsical and fantastical story that will allow students to stretch their imagination and showcase their skills in costume, set, hair & makeup, and marketing design.
These tools will help our students take their ideas from sketches to fully realized design boards.
Many of our students are participating in UIL for the first time and this experience will not only build their portfolio, but also their confidence as emerging designers.
