Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredibly creative, curious and driven — many dream of becoming fashion designers, stylists and entrepreneurs! They've been working for 3 years on mastering hand sketching their ideas, and this year I want to take their design education to the next level by introducing them to digital fashion design tools used by professionals.
Thanks to recent school funding we now have iPads in the classroom.
But we don't have Apple Pencils which are essential for precision drawing shading and working seamlessly in design apps. With your support we'll be able to fully equip our students with an Apple Pencil so they can learn digital illustration techniques, explore platforms like Fashion Draw, and start building industry-ready portfolios.
These tools will help my students stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry where digital skills are no longer optional — they're expected! I want to give them the confidence and opportunity to express their ideas using modern tools and to help them see themselves as real designers
