Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are young graphic artists with a passion for creating. We desperately need supplies to print and display their artwork throughout the school to help build pride in themselves and their school. I teach 3 Digital Art classes for Central High School in Bridgeport, CT. We are an inner city school with limited supplies to provide students without helpful donations. Without these supplies, students will never be able to get the whole experience of seeing their Artwork printed. Being able to print these works of art changes their drive and attention and gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
