This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love expressing themselves through creativity, and I want to provide them an opportunity to bring their ideas to life! With a t-shirt press, we can create custom-designed shirts for school events, field trips, and presentations. This will not only foster creativity but also build a sense of unity and pride in our classroom community.
We currently use a Cricut machine to design graphics, but without a heat press, we struggle to bring out projects to completion.
A high-quality press will allow us to make durable, professional-looking designs that students can wear with pride. Whether it's for a Black History Month showcase, a class trip, or a special celebration, these custom shirts will make every event more memorable.
Beyond just making shirts, this project will empower students with valuable skills in design, production and entrepreneurship. They will learn how to transform digital ideas into tangible products, which can also be used for fundraising efforts and community outreach projects.
