This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We propose equipping our middle school with essential tools to support an Engineering and Design Lab where students can engage in hands-on, creative learning. The lab would include a table sander, two hand sanders, student tool kits, a power tool kit, combo grinder kit, clay modeling tool set, and building materials such as balsa wood and plexiglass. These resources will allow students to design, construct, and refine projects that develop problem-solving, collaboration, and technical skills. By providing access to professional tools and materials, we can inspire innovation and prepare students for future careers in engineering and design.
