My Project
I love my students. My high school scholars are very unique and special. Many of them love to read, but most are interested in entrepreneurship. They are all about working for themselves to earn a living. As the Media Specialist I get to interact with all of the scholars in my school. They look to me for a different experience and a chance to show who they really are. They are always eager to show me things they are interested in. They love to visit the Media Center, but as of now I don't have any funds to purchase new and exciting things for them to engage in while in the Media Center.
If you donate the Cricut, the vinyl sheets, mats, and tool kit to my Media Center my scholars would go wild.
It would be our first item in our library's maker space. These items will allow my students to create designs that can be used in their classes and in the Media Center. They will have an opportunity to use their imagination to create. They love to help me decorate for the school's programs. Creating projects on the Cricut would give them something to believe in and give them a head start on their entrepreneur journey as they prepare for life after high school.
