My Project

My students are some of the most resilient students I know. They have persevered through tough economic downturns, volcanic eruptions, and COVID-19. Through all this, they have transitioned back onto a school campus and are happy. During COVID, because of their underprivileged backgrounds, they lost learning and being able to do their end-of-year showcase.

The Cricut machine will help students design their t-shirts and will provide students with matching uniforms to perform their songs and dances in a way that portrays the meaning of the song and makes it personal to them.

My students will be in front of their friends and family, and when they get on stage looking uniformed it will give them the confidence to perform their best.
