Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The sublimation blanks requested will give my students the opportunity to design and create art through the use of STEAM skills.
My goal is to introduce sublimation printing as a way of igniting their passion for creative expression and STEAM exploration.
My students will design digital art, transfer it onto sublimation paper, and press it onto mugs and puzzles. They will learn to use the mug press as well as the heat press to create beautiful art. Through hands-on experiments, they will analyze the sublimation process, gaining valuable insights into the fascinating world of material science. This interdisciplinary approach, combining art and STEAM, will ignite their curiosity and develop critical thinking skills, ultimately preparing them for future academic and career success.
