My Project

We are enhancing the learning environment for the high school autism support life skills class. Some the enhancements include tasks for hand control, language, and math. The school does not have a laminator so we are looking to get a small one for the classroom. There are many task boxes and games the students could use. Having these laminated will make these activities sturdier and last longer. Also, certain activities require the student to write on the pages and many copies need to be made. If we laminate them, the students can use dry erase markers which would eliminate the need for copies. The cardstock and Velcro dots are also be used for the task box activities.

We have awesome students in our class and are trying to give them the best learning environment they deserve.

We have been looking for chairs for students who like to rock or bounce. I saw the two chairs that are on our list and thought they would be perfect for these students. Having these chairs will give the students the support they need at their desks.
